CMS Makes Major MACRA Implementation Announcement Andrew Slavitt, Acting Administrator of CMS, announced CMS heard concerns expressed by the AMA and other physician organizations about the proposed start date for performance reporting by physicians under the new payment systems created by the MACRA.
