On January 19, 2012, SFMS will host our Annual Dinner at the Concordia Argonaut Club in San Francisco. Peter Curran, MD, board certified cardiologist from St. Mary’s Medical Center, will be installed as the 2012 SFMS President. 6:30 pm Cocktail Reception 7:30 pm Dinner and Program Join SFMS for an evening of festivities we celebrate our members (Great crowd! New people! Young people! Old Friends!) and their contributions to the local medical community. Anthony Iton, MD, JD, MPH will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Iton is the Senior Vice President for Healthy Communities at The California Endowment, a private, statewide health foundation whose mission is to expand access to affordable, quality health care for underserved individuals and communities, and to promote fundamental improvements in the health status of all Californians. Dr. Iton’s primary interest is the health of disadvantaged populations and the contributions of race, class, wealth, education, geography, and employment to health status.
