2019 SMCMA Infectious Diseases Conference



For the second year, SMCMA, with support from the San Mateo County Health, Public Health, Policy and Planning Division, Communicable Disease Control Program, will be hosting the Peninsula Infectious Diseases Conference (September 9 & 10, 2019) at SMCMA headquarters. This year's conference has been expanded to two days, with renowned experts and specialists from CDPH, UC Davis, UCLA, and Stanford, discussing the latest guidance and resources for preventing, diagnosing, and treating maternal and pediatric infectious diseases such as measles, hepatitis A, B and C, congenital syphilis, congenital tuberculosis and latent tuberculosis infection.

If you are a public health professional, a prenatal or a pediatric provider with an interest in infectious diseases, consider attending this two-day update on best practices to improve maternal and pediatric health outcomes.
