CalPAC and AMPAC Hosting SF Event for Pelosi on August 22 August 6, 2018 CMA, Local Events AMPAC, CALPAC 0 Dear San Francisco Physicians, CalPAC and AMPAC are extremely pleased to be hosting an event for U.S. House of Representatives Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi (D-SF), a great leader who has always stood with physicians. It will be cohosted with the hospital association and the San Francisco hospital leadership. It will be held Wednesday, August 22, 2018, 5:30-7:30 pm at the Waterfront Restaurant in San Francisco, CA. See details here. This is an extremely important election and we need your participation. Please consider attending the event and making a contribution. As you know, Leader Pelosi, has been OUR health care champion in Congress. She fought to retain the Affordable Care Act (ACA). And she would rather make improvements to the ACA than adopt a single payer system. She led the fight to eliminate the Medicare SGR payment formula and is now taking on Pharma to lower rising drug prices.
