Donate your PPE! March 20, 2020 News, Physician Resource, Public Health COVID-19, Coronavirus, Donate, PPE 0 As our community battles COVID-19, the San Francisco Marin Medical Society wants to ensure that our hospitals and health care providers have personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as other essential supplies to deal with the outbreak, and help connect hospitals and healthcare professionals with their local communities. If you or your organization would like to donate supplies, please visit the Donate PPE website for a list of hosptials in need, PPE that is being requested, and contact information. Not all area hospitals are currently listed and the site is being updated constantly. Please do not drop off equipment or supplies at the emergency rooms as the areas are already congested and not in a position to receive donations. Please use the contact information listed for each hospital. All donations must be unused and reviewed for infection disease approved standards. The types of supplies needed include: • Goggles (non-vented) • Face shields • Hand Sanitizer • Masks: N95 respirator, surgical, and isolation masks • Isolation or surgical gowns • Any Clorox or Sani-cloth wipes If you are a hospital administrator or healthcare professional in need of and accepting PPE, there is also a form to fill out to request PPE donations on the Donate PPE website. The San Francisco Marin Medical Society, with over 2,000 physician members, is working to keep our community and healthcare providers safe during these difficult times. Comments are closed.
