OPPOSE SB 538 (Burke) - Naturopathic Doctor Scope Expansion CMA Position: Oppose Failed 18 yes – 26 no votes on the Assembly Floor. AB 1306 (Burke) - Scope Expansion for Certified Nurse Midwives CMA Position: Oppose Failed 29 yes – 20 no votes on concurrence on the Assembly Floor. AB 533 (Bonta) – Out of Network Billing 2015 CMA Position: Oppose Reconsideration was granted and the bill was immediately moved to the inactive file, where it will die once session is over. SUPPORT AB 2121 (Gonzalez) - Responsible Beverage Service CMA Position: Sponsor Passed the Assembly Floor with 53 yes – 10 no votes. This bill will now be sent to the Governor. SB 1177 (Galgiani) – Physician Health and Wellness CMA Position: Sponsor Passed the Senate Floor with 39 yes – 0 no votes. Bill has been sent to the Governor. SB 1160 (Mendoza) - Workers’ Compensation Reforms CMA Position: Support Passed the Senate Floor with 34 yes – 0 no. Bill will be sent to the Governor. NEUTRAL AB 72 (Bonta) - Out of Network Billing CMA Position: Neutral Passed the Assembly Floor with 70 yes - 0 no votes. This bill will now be sent to the Governor. SB 482 (Lara) - Mandatory Checking of CURES CMA Position: Neutral Passed the Senate Floor on concurrence with 31 Yes - 1 no votes. This bill will now be sent to the Governor.
