Update: Supreme Court to Decide if Doctors Can Sue States Over Medicaid October 3, 2011 CMA, Medicaid, News, Payment medicaid 0 Justices will hear arguments today regarding California's plan to cut Medicaid payments to doctors, hospitals, and other medical providers in an effort to address the state's budget issues. There was no consensus apparent among the justices Monday. Experts say the case has national implications because its central issue involves states' rights to regulate their Medicaid programs.
